Last year's soft ground was replaced with high winds this year. Still, 15 airplanes flew in for our annual Open Hangar Party.
In addition, we counted well over 100 cars in the lot from local residents and pilots from the area. That would put attendance at over 200,
perhaps slightly down from previous years. We were also spread out between the old hangar and the new terminal building, so we had extra elbow room.
Despite the cold and wind, the day was sunny and festive.
Again this year, the Museum supplied the main courses as well as the hot cider and coffee.
And, many of those attending brought Hors d'Oeurves, etc. It is a formula that has worked very well.
The more people that come, the more food is brought. Everyone has plenty to eat and none gets wasted.
