Vintage Sailplane Rally
The Vintage Sailplane Association (VSA) will hold their annual East Coast Sailplane meet at Massey over the Columbus Day weekend. Gliders from the 30’s through the 60’s are invited for a four day weekend of flying and hangar stories. Glider rides and biplane rides will be available (prices vary), with a portion of the fee being donated to the museum. See www.vintagesailplane.org. Open Hangar Party
This is our annual Christmas Party for the community and flying friends. Friends bring hors d’oeuvres and the airport supplies the main course and hot cider. This is always a rain or shine event, drive or fly, from about 11:00PM to 3:00PM (Food served at Noon). As always, keep an eye out for “no-radio” aircraft. Usually, we use Runway 02 for arrival on event days, winds permitting. See story and photos of the 2015 Hangar Party.
